Kings Co. Fire Apparatus Engineer Keith Hernandez
The Kings County Fire Department and Kings County Firefighters, Local 3747 are saddened to announce the passing of one of their own in the line of duty.
Fire Apparatus Engineer Keith Hernandez passed away on February 23, 2019 from job-related cancer. He was 30 years old.
Brother Hernandez served the last 5 years with Kings County Fire Department. He also worked as a Seasonal Firefighter for Cal Fire Sonoma Lake Napa Unit, Seasonal Paid Call Firefighter for Fresno County Fire Protection District and an Explorer for the Clovis Fire Department.
Brother Hernandez is remembered as a proud firefighter who loved his career. He is survived by his wife Crystal, daughter Henley and son Harper.
MEMORIAL INFORMATION
A memorial service for Brother Hernandez will be held at Visalia First, 3737 S. Akers Street, Visalia, CA 93277. Details on the date and time of the services will be announced as soon as they become available.
