Committed to Excellence
Palo Alto Firefighters take great pride in the many disciplines that define our craft and the list of services we provide to the public continues to evolve with today's changing world. Today, we provide staffing to six fire stations that are comprised of six engine companies, three paramedic ambulances and a truck company serving both the City of Palo Alto, and Stanford University. In 2017, firefighters responded to approximately 10,000 emergency calls.
Honor, Pride and tradition
The fire service has deep roots in America’s history and Palo Alto firefighters continue to honor that tradition with their commitment to serving the public.
